JSON to CSV

Convert an array of JSON objects into CSV rows.

How to use JSON to CSV

  1. Paste a nonempty JSON array of objects, or choose a .json file. For example: [{"name":"Avery","score":12},{"name":"Morgan","score":18}].
  2. Leave the column field blank to include every key, or enter a JSON string array such as ["name","score"] to select columns.
  3. Select Preview and export CSV, review the first 20 rows, then download table.csv. Missing keys become empty cells; nested values are written as JSON text.

What this tool does

Nested values require a defined representation; check columns before export.

Example

For [{"name":"Avery","score":12},{"name":"Morgan","score":18}], the CSV has name and score headers with one row per object.

Frequently asked questions

What JSON shape can I convert?

Use a nonempty array where every item is an object. A single object, scalar, or array of mixed values is not treated as a table.

What happens to nested objects and missing keys?

Nested objects and arrays are written as JSON text in a cell. A key absent from one row produces an empty cell in that column.
